UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN CREDIT UNION PRESENTS AN EVENING AT THE ANN ARBOR SUMMER FESTIVAL

FEATURING

GEORGE BEDARD AND THE KINGPINS

KENTUCKY CHROME AND

"THE WIZARD OF OZ"

University of Michigan Credit Union is proud to sponsor an outstanding evening of great family entertainment at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival on Sunday, July 6th. This evening of music and fun starts at 7:00 pm with the sounds of Kentucky Chrome, a five piece rockabilly outfit that will get you dancing.  Next up will be Ann Arbor favorites George Bedard and the Kingpins at 8:15 pm. The Kingpins, featuring Randy Tessier on bass and Rich Dishman on drums, have developed a reputation as one of Michigan's best bands since their formation in the early '90s. George and the boys will have all ages up and dancing to great rock and roll.

The evening caps off with the classic movie "The Wizard of Oz" starring Judy Garland.  In this charming film, Dorothy and her dog Toto are caught in a tornado's path and somehow end up in the land of Oz. Here she meets some memorable friends and foes in her journey to meet the Wizard of Oz who everyone says can help her return home and possibly grant her new friends their goals of a brain, heart and courage.

There is no charge for any of the entertainment. Chairs are provided or you can bring a blanket to place on the lawn. There is a wide variety of food and drink available for purchase. All you need to do is show up and enjoy yourself, courtesy of your credit union!>

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival is located on Ingalls Mall on the University of Michigan Campus. For directions and more information visit the Ann Arbor Summer Festival web site. See you at Top of the Park!
