"Tips from the Budget Guru"

Get tips on how to control spending while still enjoying life. Increase your budgeting skills, get out of debt, begin to save, and improve your credit rating. This class will teach you how to map out your monthly income, living expenses and debt, and develop a spending plan. It will also explain some of the benefits and pitfalls of credit use.

FREE Tax Preparation for Federal Stimulus Checks

You will qualify for a stimulus check if you had more than $3000 in income from:

  • Employment
  • Social Security Retirement
  • Social Security Disability Income (SSDI)
  • Veterans’ Pension

SSI DOES NOT QUALIFY! NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY!

Bring the following documents with you:

  • If you were paid Social Security benefits, bring your SSA-1099

  • All 1099 forms (1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-misc., etc.) showing interest and/or dividends as well as documentation showing the original purchase price of your sold assets

  • If you received a pension or annuity, bring your 1099R

  • Copy of previous year tax return is helpful
